sonder

[suhn-der]

noun. the realisation that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own.

We all have a tale to tell. Everyone we see has their own unique story, with experiences, thoughts, and emotions just like our own. I believe that learning to grow from challenges and hardships are key to finding purpose, balance and focus, especially in this fast-paced world.

I have grown into senior positions across ten years in the CRM marketing space and more recently within the tech industry. I have worked with scale-ups to juggernaut brands such Monzo, Memrise, Gett, Estée Lauder, Sky and more.

In my years, I have led and transformed teams, seen motivated people around me succeed in CRM, generated unprecedented revenue while also being on the receiving end of redundancies. Yes, plural. Life can come at you fast.

My lived experience has taught me that growth and burnout are often two sides of the same coin.

After many years of chasing ambition (often at the expense of my own wellbeing), I’ve grown into a different mindset. One that values purpose at work while also prioritising self-care and presence. If you were to ask me what I now strive for, my answer would be simple: contentment.

Out of this journey, I created The Sonder Factory, where I give people a space to tell me their story and explore how they want their next chapter to unfold. I coach individuals drawing directly from my lived experience. Whether you’re climbing the ranks and questioning if it’s all worth it, standing at a crossroads, struggling to fit into the workplace (perhaps as a person of colour), or navigating redundancy and trying to find your way forward again, I’m here to support you.
